| Out my back door - Pisgah National forest | |

My location is Transylvania county in Western North Carolina, USA, zone 7, Elevation is 2300 ft. I have zero flat ground here, except for my parking and building areas. My home and garage-office were carved into the mountain side. I am surrounded by the Pisgah National forest. Because of all the tall trees, I only get about 5 hours of sun a day in my garden The sun clears the tree tops about 10:00 am and goes behind the tree tops about 3:00 PM. The trees are all 60+ feet tall around my house. My garden is right next to my home and business buildings. It's nice to take breaks, go outside and look at everything growing.
