I used my first gaming machine, an old 1000 megahertz Pentium 3, with a voodoo video card machine. It was just laying around under a work bench.
I did a clean install of XP pro. Glad I didn't throw this machine away, old machines seem to always come in handy at a later date. I added the CNC power supply motor driver assembly to the area where the disk drives normally sit. An additional AC cooling fan was installed across from the CNC assembly. The fan was pointed into the PC case so it blows on the CNC assembly. The heat goes out the front of the PC. |

I hooked up all the limit switches and emergency stop switch to a 9 pin serial connector. The motor feed wires are hooked up to PC style power connectors. |

Rear view I made a block off plate to cover all the PCI slots I also taped off some of the holes to get a better air flow. The printer cable goes to the motor control board inside the PC |
