- शुद्धब्रह्मपरात्पर राम् (Shuddha-Brahma-Paraatpara Raam): Rama Who is of the Nature of Pure Brahman and Who is Superior to the Best.
- कालात्मकपरमेश्वर राम् (Kaala-Aatmaka-Parameshvara Raam): Rama Who is of the Nature of Kala (i.e. Master of everyone's Destiny) and the Supreme Lord.
- शेषतल्पसुखनिद्रित राम् (Shessa-Talpa-Sukha-Nidrita Raam): Rama Who Sleeps Blissfully on the Bed of Serpent Sesha Naga.

Sri Rama

Sri Rama incarnates at Ayodhya: I meditate on Sri Rama who incarnated at Ayodhya as the son of queen Kausalya on the Chaitra Navami day. Queen Kaikeyi gave birth to Bharata and queen Sumitra to Lakshmana and Shatrughna (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 18).
- चण्डकिरणकुलमण्डन राम् (Canndda-Kiranna-Kula-Mannddana Raam ): Rama Who Adorned the Dynasty of Sun (Surya Vamsha).
- श्रीमद्दशरथनन्दन राम् (Shriimad-Dasharatha-Nandana Raam): Rama Who was the Illustrious Son of King Dasaratha.

Sri Rama starts his journey with sage Vishwamitra from Ayodhya: I meditate on Sri Rama who started from Ayodhya with sage Vishwamitra and accompanied by Lakshmana to serve the purpose of the sage (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 22).
- विश्वामित्रप्रियधन राम् (Vishvaamitra-Priya-Dhana Raam): Rama Who was Dear to Sage Vishwamitra like a Great Treasure.

Travelling along river Sarayu: I meditate on Sri Rama who received the Bala and Atibala mantras from sage Vishwamitra on the bank of river Sarayu (River Sarayu) (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 22).

Reaching Anga: I meditate on Sri Rama who reached Anga, the confluence of rivers Ganga and Sarayu, and heard the story of Lord Shiva burning Kamadeva in that place (Anga Ashrama) (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 23).

Kameshwar Dham (Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh)
Kameshwar Dham (Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh): Kameshwar Dham is identified with Anga Ashrama where Sri Rama heard the story of Lord Shiva burning Kamadeva in that place from sage Vishwamitra. The confluence of rivers Ganga and Ghaghara is located in this district.


Tataka Vanam:

Slaying demoness Tataka at Tataka Forest: I meditate on Sri Rama who reached Tataka forest after crossing the river at Anga and heard the story of demoness Tataka; thereafter slayed demoness Tataka on the command of sage Vishwamitra (Tataka Forest) (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 24 to 27).
- घोरताटकाघातक राम् (Ghora-Taattakaa-Ghaataka Raam): Rama Who was the Slayer of the Terrible Demoness Tataka.

Receiving divine weapons: at Tataka Forest: I meditate on Sri Rama who received divine weapons from sage Vishwamitra in the forest of Tataka after the slaying of the demoness (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 24 to 27).

Tataka Vanam (Buxar district, Bihar): Tataka Vanam is identified with the Tataka forest where Sri Rama slayed demoness Tataka and received divine weapons from sage Vishwamitra.

Reaching Siddhashrama: I meditate on Sri Rama who heard the story of the incarnation of the Vamana Avatara of Lord Vishnu at Siddhashrama from sage Vishwamitra (Siddhashrama) (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 29 to 30).

Vamaneshwar Dham (Buxar district, Bihar): Vamaneshwar Dham is identified with Siddhashrama where Sri Rama heard the story of the incarnation of Vamana Avatara of Lord Vishnu and also protected the yagna of sage Vishwamitra in that place.

Reaching river Sona at Girivraja: I meditate on Sri Rama who heard the story of the lineage of sage Vishwamitra at Girivraja on the bank of river Sona (Girivraja) (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 31 to 34).

Rajgir (Nalanda district, Bihar): Identified with Girivraja. The city is surrounded by seven hills namely - Vaibhav, Ratna, Saila, Sona, Udaya, Chhatha and Vipul.

Reaching the bank of river Ganga: I meditate on Sri Rama who camped on the bank of river Ganga and heard the story of the descent of river Ganga from sage Vishwamitra (River Ganga) (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 35 to 44).

- श्रीमदहल्योद्धारक राम् (Shriimad-Ahalya-Uddhaaraka Raam): Rama Who provided Deliverance to the Venerable Ahalya.
- गौतममुनिसंपूजित राम् (Gautama-Muni-Sampuujita Raam): Rama Who was Greatly Honoured by Sage Gautama.
- सुरमुनिवरगणसंस्तुत राम् (Sura-Muni-Vara-Ganna-Samstuta Raam): Rama Who was Praised by the Devas and the Best of Sages.
- नाविकधावितमृदुपद राम् (Naavika-Dhaavita-Mrdu-Pada Raam): Rama (the Sailor providing Deliverance) Whose Feet was washed by Ahalya.

Ahalya Asthan (Darbhanga district, Bihar): Identified with the place where Sri Rama redeemed Devi Ahalya from the curse of sage Gautama.
Brahmapur (Darbhanga district, Bihar): Has a temple of sage Gautama and a Gautama Kunda. It is said that Lord Brahma himself created this Kunda by piercing the earth with seven arrows, so that sage Gautama did not have to travel a long distance for bathing in river Ganga.


Mithila:

Story of the birth of Devi Sita

Arriving at Mithila: I meditate on Sri Rama who arrived at Mithila along with sage Vishwamitra to take part in the swayamvara ceremony of Devi Sita (Valmiki Ramayana - Bala Kanda - 50).
- मिथिलापुरजनमोहक राम् (Mithilaa-Pura-Jana-Mohaka Raam): Rama Who Enchanted the People of Mithila.
- विदेहमानसरञ्जक राम् (Videha-Maana-Saranjaka Raam): Rama Who Enhanced the Honour of King Janaka.

Mithila (Baliraajgadh in Madhubani district, Bihar): Identified with Mithila.
Mithila (Sitamarhi in Sitamarhi district, Bihar): Also identified with Mithila.
Mithila (Janakpur in Dhanusha district, Nepal): Also identified with Mithila.

Departing to forest from Ayodhya: I meditate on Sri Rama who departed to forest for fourteen years to keep the words of his father (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 40).

- अगणितगुणगणभूषित राम् (Agannita-Gunna-Ganna-Bhuussita Raam): Rama Who was Adorned with Inumerable Virtues.

From Ayodhya: I meditate on Sri Rama who started from Ayodhya along with Lakshmana and Devi Sita during the forest exile (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 45).

River Tamasa: I meditate on Sri Rama who spent the first night of forest exile on the bank of river Tamasa (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 46).

River Vedashruti: I meditate on Sri Rama who crossed river Vedashruti during the forest exile (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 49).

River Gomati: I meditate on Sri Rama who crossed river Gomati during the forest exile (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 49).

River Syandika: I meditate on Sri Rama who crossed river Syandika and thereby the boundary of the Koshala kingdom during the forest exile (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 49).


Sringaverapura:

Sri Rama and Guha

Meeting Guha at Sringaverapura: I meditate on Sri Rama who met his friend Guha (Nishadraj) and camped on the bank of river Ganga for one night during the forest exile (Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda - 50 to 51).
- प्रियगुहविनिवेदितपद राम् (Priya-Guha-Vinivedita-Pada Raam): Rama to Whose Feet Guha Offered himself as a Dear Servant.
- तत्क्षालितनिजमृदुपद राम् (Tat-Kssaalita-Nija-Mrdu-Pada Raam): Rama Whose Gentle Feet was Washed (by Guha).

Shringaverpur (Allahabad district, Uttar Pradesh): Identified with Sringaverapura, the kingdom of Nishadraj. Sri Rama spent a night here and crossed the river Ganga on the boat of Kewat to reach Prayaga. Excavation work uncovered a temple of Shringi Rishi, and the place is believed to have got the name from him.

Vibhishana wanting to serve Sri Rama at Lanka: I meditate on Sri Rama whom Vibhishana wanted to serve before leaving for Ayodhya (Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - 121).
- अभिषिक्तविभीषणनत राम् (Abhissikta-Vibhiissanna-Nata Raam): Rama Who was Reverentially Saluted by Vibhisana who (Vibhisana) was Coronated by Him.


Ascending the Pushpaka Vimana for returning to Ayodhya at Lanka: I meditate on Sri Rama who ascended the Pushpaka Vimana for returning to Ayodhya along with Devi Sita, Lakshmana, Vibhishana and the vanaras (Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - 122).
- पुष्पकयानारोहण राम् (Pusspaka-Yaana-Aarohanna Raam): Rama Who Ascended the Pushpaka Vimana for returning to Ayodhya.


Meeting sage Bharadwaja on the way to Ayodhya at Prayaga: I meditate on Sri Rama who met sage Bharadwaja while returning to Ayodhya (Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - 124).

- कीशकुलानुग्रहकर राम् (Kiisha-Kula-Anugraha-Kara Raam): Rama Who Showered His Grace on the Sun Dynasty (Surya Vamsha).
- सकलजीवसंरक्षक राम् (Sakala-Jiiva-Samrakssaka Raam): Rama Who is the Guardian of All Living Beings.
- समस्तलोकाधारक राम् (Samasta-Loka-Aadhaaraka Raam): Rama Who is the Supporter of All the Worlds.

- आगतमुनिगणसंस्तुत राम् (Aagata-Muni-Ganna-Samstuta Raam): Rama Who was Praised by All the Visiting Sages.
- विश्रुतदशकण्ठोद्भव राम् (Vishruta-Dasha-Kannttha-Udbhava Raam): Rama Who heard the origin (i.e. the story) of the Ten-Faced (i.e. Ravana).

- सीतालिङ्गननिर्वृत राम् (Siita-Aalinggana-Nirvrta Raam): Rama Who was Happy in the Embrace of Devi Sita.
- नीतिसुरक्षितजनपद राम् (Niiti-Surakssita-Janapada Raam): Rama Who Protected His Empire by Moral Precepts (i.e. Dharma).

- विपिनत्याजितजनकज राम् (Vipina-Tyaajita-Janaka-Ja Raam): Rama Who Abandoned Devi Sita ( Born of Janaka ) in the Forest.
- कारितलवणासुरवध राम् (Kaarita-Lavannaasura-Vadha Raam): Rama Who Caused the Killing of Demon Lavanasura (through brother Satrughna).
- स्वर्गतशम्बुकसंस्तुत राम् (Svargata-Shambuka-Samstuta Raam): Rama Who was Praised by Shambuka who has Gone to Heaven.
- स्वतनयकुशलवनन्दित राम् (Sva-Tanaya-Kusha-Lava-Nandita Raam): Rama Who Made Happy His Own Sons Lava and Kusha.

- अश्वमेधक्रतुदीक्षित राम् (Ashvamedha-Kratu-Diikssita Raam): Rama Who was Initiated in to the Sacrifice of Ashwamedha.
- कालावेदितसुरपद राम् (Kaalaa-Vedita-Sura-Pada Raam): Rama Who was Made to Know His Divine Position by Kala when His time to depart arrived.
- आयोध्यकजनमुक्तिद राम् (Aayodhyaka-Jana-Mukti-Da Raam): Rama Who Gave Liberation to the People of Ayodhya.

- विधिमुखविबुधानन्दक राम् (Vidhi-Mukha-Vibudha-Aanandaka Raam): Who made the Faces of Brahma and other Gods Shine with Joy.
- तेजोमयनिजरूपक राम् (Tejomaya-Nija-Ruupaka Raam): Who assumed His Own Divine Form Shining with Light during His departure.

- संसृतिबन्धविमोचक राम् (Samsrti-Bandha-Vimocaka Raam): Rama Who Releases one from the Bondage of Samsara (Worldly Attachments).
- धर्मस्थापनतत्पर राम् (Dharma-Sthaapana-Tatpara Raam): Rama Who is Eager to Establish Dharma in the World.
- भक्तिपरायणमुक्तिद राम् (Bhakti-Paraayanna-Mukti-Da Raam): Rama Who Gives Liberation to one Wholly Devoted to Him.
- सर्वचराचरपालक राम् (Sarva-Cara-Acara-Paalaka Raam): Rama Who is the Guardian of All Moving and Non-Moving Beings.
- सर्वभवामयवारक राम् (Sarva-Bhava-Aamaya-Vaaraka Raam): Rama Who Restrains All Diseases of Worldly Attachments from His Devotees.

Sri Vishnu
