Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda 55: Sri Rama crossing river Yamuna at Prayaga: Sri Rama crossed river Yamuna at Prayaga by building a big raft made of pieces of timber. While in the middle of the river, Devi Sita offered prayers to river Yamuna for their safe return after the forest exile.
Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda 55: Sri Rama coming to a Nyagrodha tree called Shyama: After crossing river Yamuna Sri Rama came to a Nyagrodha tree called Shyama which was earlier mentioned by sage Bharadwaja. Devi Sita circumambulated that tree with joined palms and prayed for their safe return.
Valmiki Ramayana - Ayodhya Kanda 55: Sri Rama spending a night on the bank of river Yamuna: Walking through the forested bank of river Yamuna for a few miles, enjoying the beauty of nature with its beautiful flower-laden trees and cries of swans and geese; Sri Rama, Lakshmana and Devi Sita rested in a place on the river bank and spent the night there.
