Valmiki Ramayana - Aranya Kanda 20 to 30: Sri Rama encountering demons Khara and Dushana: When Sri Rama punished Surpanakha, she reported this to her brother Khara, who initially sent various demons to kill Sri Rama. Sri Rama eliminated all of them. Then demons Khara and Dushana came with a huge army. Sri Rama single-handedly fought with all of them and finally killed demons Khara and Dushana.
