• Meditation: I meditate on Sri Mahaganapati blessing Lord Shiva to be successful in the battle against demon Tripura.

• Mahaganapati: Ranjangaon Mahaganapati is one of the Ashta Vinayaka temples. The legends of Sri Ganesha are mentioned in Ganesha Purana and Mudgala Purana.

• Sri Ganesha blessing Lord Shiva for victory against Tripura: According to legend, Sri Ganesha blessed Lord Shiva to be successful in the battle against demon Tripura, when Lord Shiva meditated on Him before waging war against the demon. Sri Ganesha permanently stayed in that place (where Lord Shiva meditated) as Sri Mahaganapati.

• Mahaganapati temple is located in the Pune district of Maharashtra.
