Jagannath Ratha Yatra:
Jagannath Ratha Yatra is the famous car festival celebrated in Puri. Three rathas or chariots are well-decorated and houses the idols of
Sri Jagannatha, Balarama and Subhadra. Thousands of people take part in this festival where the chariots are pulled and taken to Gundicha Temple, the aunt's house of the Lord. Jagannath Ratha Yatra falls on
Aasaddha Shukla Paksha Dwitiya.
