Misc. Info: The Bansuri is a bamboo flute from North India. Although a simple instru­ment at first sight - a bamboo with six holes - it is capable of expressing a myriad of colors and emotions. Indian classical music is a rich trad­ition with long and intricate history that puts strong emphasis on improvisation. Learn­ing this music is a journey of exploring sound and expression. I offer lessons to begin­ners and advan­ced stu­dents in northern Greece. I am a pro­fes­sional player and I trained (and still do) with Hariprasad Chaurasia, a legendary flutist.
