Possibly 1930 Kunsthandel Huinck & Scherjon, Utrecht; possibly sold for NLG 4.400 during the exhibition in Amsterdam, Kunsthandel Huinck & Scherjon (Tentoonstelling van Hollandsche en Fransche kunst uit de verzameling Kunsthandel Huinck & Scherjon ter gelegenheid van de opening der kunstzalen), cat. 27 (St. Tropez), between 24 May and 30 June 1930; sold by a private collector, The Netherlands to Kunsthandel Van Wisselingh, Amsterdam for NLG 1.000, 1952; sold by Kunsthandel Van Wisselingh to Hendricus A.D. Thomas, Amsterdam, 12 March 1952; after his death on 15 December 1964 inherited by his mother Dirkje Thomas-Mager, Amsterdam provided it will be donated after her death to the Vincent van Gogh Foundation, Amsterdam; after her death on 31 October 1965 donated to the Vincent van Gogh Foundation; on permanent loan to the Rijksmuseum Vincent van Gogh from the opening of the museum on 2 June 1973, and at the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, since 1 July 1994.
