Description

De gekroonde Maria zit met het Christuskind op schoot, een scepter in de hand. Rond haar hoofd een aureool van sterren. Ze vertrapt het kwaad met haar voet. De voorstelling is gevat in een omlijsting van kralen. In elke hoek een medaillon met scènes uit het leven van Maria: uitstorting van de Heilige Geest, aanbidding van Maria door engelen, de hemelvaart en de kroning van Maria. Onderaan in de cartouche wordt Maria aanbeden door verschillende mannen en vrouwen. De prent heeft een bovenschrift in het Latijn.
