Description

De profeet Elia bij dageraad in de woestijn door een engel gewekt. De profeet kijkt verschrift op naar de engel die met de linkerhand naar achteren wijst. Vervaardigd in 1624-25 als deel van een reeks van acht schilderijen voor de kapel van de sacramenten in de kerk San Paolo fuori le mura te Rome.
