De vredesonderhandelingen tussen de leider van de Batavieren Claudius Civilis en de Romeinse generaal Quintus Petillius Cerealis op de afgebroken brug. In de lucht Victoria met lauwerkransen voor beide leiders. Aan weerszijden van de brug wachten de soldaten van beide van legers.
