Many have wondered what happed to Rick, why was he fired from Duke? Answer, Rick was betrayed by people he trusted. A group of African Americans and Jewish people (whom Rick was helping) went to the administration and accused Rick of saying something “racist” (hmm, sounds like today, no?) They pressured the administration to fire Rick over petty issues in a power play. Ironic, as Rick would admit. That said, I will never forgive those people.
