Sri Rama revisiting Suteekshna Ashrama
Sri Rama revisiting Suteekshna Ashrama
(Ref: Valmiki Ramayana - Aranya Kanda - 11)

•
Meditation: I meditate on
Sri Rama revisiting the Suteekshna Ashrama in the
Dandakaranya forest and asking for the directions of Agastya Ashrama.
•
Events:
1. Sri Rama revisiting Suteekshna Ashrama: Sri Rama revisits the hermitage of sage Suteekshna after spending ten years in various other hermitages within the forest.
2. Sri Rama enquiring about Agastya Ashrama: During his second visit, Sri Rama asks sage Suteekshna the direction of the Agastya Ashrama. Sage Suteekshna happily tells Sri Rama how to reach the hermitage of sage Agastya.
•
Pilgrimage:

Suteekshna Ashrama is situated around 4 km away from Sharabhanga ashrama, which is around 20 km from Birsinghpur in
Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. This is on the
Madhya Pradesh side of Chitrakoot (
Satna district).
