• Meditation: I meditate on Sri Mayureshwar killing demon Sindhu riding on a Mayura (Peacock).

• Mayureshwar: Morgaon Mayureshwar is one of the Ashta Vinayaka temples. The legends of Sri Ganesha are mentioned in Ganesha Purana and Mudgala Purana.

• Sri Ganesha killing demon Sindhu: According to legend, Sri Ganesha killed demon Sindhu riding on a Mayura (Peacock). hence the name Mayureshwar. On the request of the devas Sri Ganesha stayed there permanently as Sri Mayureshwara or Moreshwara.

• Mayureshwar temple is located in the Pune district of Maharashtra.
