Bhairava Parvata Shakti Peetha: Devi Avantika temple of
Ujjain is a
Shakti Peetha identified with the
Bhairava Parvata Shakti Peetha mentioned in the
Peetha Nirnaya Tantra. It is situated on the
Bhairava Hills on the bank of river
Shipra in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this Shakti Peetha, the famous Mahakaleshwara Jyotirlinga is also located in Ujjain.
