• Meditation: I meditate on Sri Krishna delivering the sermon of Bhagavad Gita at Kurukshetra for uplifting the soul of man towards salvation.

• Kurukshetra: Kurukshetra is an ancient pilgrimage mentioned in the puranas. It is in Kurukshetra that the great battle of Mahabharata was fought between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. It is here that Sri Krishna delivered the great sermon of Bhagavad Gita to mankind. Kurukshetra is also a Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya texts.

• Kurukshetra Shakti Peetha: Devi Bhadrakali temple of Kurukshetra is identified with the Kurukshetra Shakti Peetha mentioned in the Peetha Nirnaya Tantra.

• Kurukshetra is located in the Kurukshetra district of Harayana.
