This class is an intro­duction to Clas­sical Odissi Dance, includ­ing warm ups, exercises, foot work, facial expressions, rhythms as well as intricate hand mudras and their applications. The dance practice requires con­centration and dis­cipline and a gradual build up of stamina, coordination and fluid grace.
