I was awarded ‘Sangeet Prabhakar’ and am a regular per­former in the All India Radio. I earned the Certifi­cate Of Merit by Rajya San­geet Academy, Govt. of West Bengal. I am a skilled per­former of vilambit and drut khayals in various talas and also Thumri, Dadra, Hori, Bhajans, etc with equal ease which has won acclaim from many. I can per­form Rabindra San­geet and Bengali tappa as well. For my stu­dents, I stress on rigorous voice train­ing by scientific methods in order to build up a foundation for all dimensions.
