yādera karunābale jagate pracāra
sei nāma-parayāṇa sādhu, mahājana
tāńhādera nindā nā koriho kadācana

vrajendranandana kṛṣṇa sarveśvareśvara
maheśvara ādi tāra sevana-tatpara
nāma cintāmaṇi kṛṣṇa-caitanya-svarūpa
bheda-jñāna nā karibe līlā-guṇa-rūpa

"guru kṛṣṇa-rūpa hāń śāstrera pramāṇe
guru-rūpe kṛṣṇa kṛpa kare bhāgyavane"
se gurute martya-buddhi avajñādi tyāji
iṣṭa-lābha kara, nirantara nāma bhāji

śruti, śruti-mātā-saha satvata-purāṇa
śrī-nāma-caraṇa-padma kare nirajāna

tāra sama nā bhāviha śubha-karma ādi

nāme śraddha-hīna-jana—vidhātā vañcita
tāre nāma dāne aparādha suniścita

sunijāo kṛṣṇa-nāma-mahātmya apāra
ye prīti-rahita, sei narādhama chār
ahamtā mamatā yāra antare bahire
śuddha kṛṣṇa-nāma tāra kabhu nāhi sphure

ei dasa aparādha koriyā varjana
ye sujana kare harināma sańkirtana
apūrva śrī-kṛṣṇa-prema labhya tāra haya
nāma-prabhu tāra hṛde nitya vilāsaya
TRANSLATION
1) The Hare Krsna mahamantra is the essence of all mantras. Through the strength of the mercy of the Lord’s devotees, this name is preached all over the universe. These great saintly devotees are devoted to the Holy Name. Therefore, never blaspheme such saintly devotees who spread and preach the glories of the Holy Name.
2) Krsna is the son of the king of Vraja (Nanda Maharaja) and is the Lord of all lords. Lord Siva and many exalted personalities offer relentless service to Him. The precious cintamani jewel of His Holy Name is nondifferent Krsna, Himself. Therefore, do not differentiate His personality, His qualities, His pastimes, and His form.
3) “According to the scriptures, the spiritual pastime is like a form of Krsna. Through the benediction of the spiritual master, one is fortunate by Krsna’s mercy. Therefore, renouncing any such thoughts of such a spiritual master as a mere ordinary mortal and do not disobey him. Through his mercy, gain endless service unto His Holy Name.
4) The Vedic commentaries, the Gayatri, and all of the Vedic histories (puranas) all illuminate the Lotus feet of the Holy Name. Those who blaspheme these Vedic scriptures are considered grave offenders, and such company is to be avoided.
5) All of the Vedic scriptures sing of the great glory of the Holy Name. Do not think of these great glories as an exaggeration. Agastya Muni, Lord Ananta Sesa, Brahma, Siva, and many other exalted personalities collectively chant these glories and the Holy Name! Who will ever be able to cross the ocean of glories of the Holy Name? Anyone who deems these to be an exaggeration is a sinful person.
6) The repository of Krsna’s names is the eternal wealth of Goloka. Anyone who thinks these are imaginary and earthly is an offender.
7) All of the scriptures decree that the Holy Name is so potent that it can destroy all sins. However, the who one commits to sinful activity the whole day has a degraded mindset and is grave sinner. Clasped by the snares of maya (illusion), they are doomed to suffer.
8) Krsna’s name is incomparable and is the complete essence of transcendental bliss and happiness. Do not feel that His name is equated to auspicious fruitive activity.
9) Deprived by fate, there are faithless people toward His Holy Name. To give such faithless persons the Holy Name is most certainly offensive.
10) Listen to the inconceivable limitless glories of Sri Krsna’s Holy Name! If one does not develop love are the lowest of people. Egoism and attachment surrounds such a personality, internally and externally. Therefore, the pure Holy Name will never be revealed unto that person.
11) The good devotees who avoid all of these ten offenses can properly participate in the congregation chanting of Lord Hari’s name. That devotee will receive endless love for Krsna and the Holy Name will eternally rest within their hearts.
