Song Name: Dónde Está Mi Acharya
Thakura?
Official Name: None
Author: Atulananda Acarya
Book Name: None
Language: Spanish
LYRICS:
(1)
¿Dónde
está mi Acharya Thakura?
que
dió el tesoro
su
compasión exclusiva
me
alivió de todo dolor
(2)
¿Dónde
están los salvadores
(3)
¿Dónde
están Sri Rupa y Sanatana
y
Svarupa Damodara?
¿Dónde
está Raghunatha das,
Raghunatha
Bhatta y Gopal Bhatta?
(4)
¿Dónde
voy a encontrar ahora
a
Krsna das Kaviraja?
Todos
se han ido con Sri Gauranga
el
bailarín
(5)
Golpearé
mi cabeza en la roca
por
el dolor de la separación
todos
se han ido a su dulce lila
al
mundo de la devoción
(6)
Narottama
está llorando
por
no tener su asociación
mi
vida perdió esperanza
Gurudeva
es mi salvación
(7)
Cuando
se fue Srila Prabhupada
el
mundo se lamentó
alegre
recibió Vrndavana
al
parsada que regresó
(8)
Al
dejarnos Guru Maharaja
Harijan
lo acompañó
por
siempre viven estos vaisnavas
y
con nosotros en separación.
TRANSLATION
1) He who brought the
treasure of divine love and who was filled with compassion and mercy--where has
such a personality as Srinivasa Acarya gone?
2-3) Where are my Svarupa
Damodara and Rupa Gosvami? Where is Sanatana? Where is Raghunatha Dasa, the
savior of the fallen?
4) Where are my Raghunatha
Bhatta and Gopala Bhatta, and where is Krsnadasa Kaviraja? Where did Lord
Gauranga, the great dancer, suddenly go?
5-6) I will smash my head
against the rock and enter into the fire. Where will I find Lord Gauranga, the
reservoir of all wonderful qualities? Being unable to obtain the association of
Lord Gauranga accompanied by all of these devotees in whose association He
performed His pastimes, Narottama Dasa simply weeps. Gurudeva is my only
salvation.
7) Where did Srila
Prabhupada go? The world lamented, while he was happily received in Vrndavana,
the place where he returned to.
8) Having Guru Maharaja
leave us, please let the “harijan” accompany you. Always, we will be living in the
accompany of the Vaisanvas, whether in union or separation.
REMARKS/EXTRA INFORMATION:
This translation is based on the song “Je Anilo Prema Dhana Karuna
Pracura.”
The added verses are verse 2, 7, and 8 (the original
only had the analogs of verses 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6). Atulananda Acarya included
these verses inspired by Paramadvaita Swami.
