Raga Bhupala Todi is pentatonic raga sharing the same swarsthanas as Bhupala, with the only differences being the re, dha and ga are komal instead of suddha. Due to the notes, it can be considered that this raga is either Bhairavi or Todi that. However, the svarupa (pakkad) of this raga, it can be deduced that this is based on more on the Todi realm, due to purvanga of the avaroha. The characteristic “g r g r S.”
