Another P7 - DX flashlight conversion

This is DX SKU 15946 flashlight shell.
There are no electronics inside, it is sold as an empty shell.

Here's a DX picture of all the pieces I removed all the internal threads on the tail cap and the body.
The tail cap was lathed down so that it fits inside the body.

This is what it looks like when the tail cap is slid inside the body

I ended up removing the fins so I could have a nice flat place for the mounting ring.
After I did this, I realized that it would be much better to not remove the fins, but move the mounting ring forward on the light body.

If I do another one of these conversions, I plan on changing the mounting ring position. Here is where I removed the fins

The P7 and Hi-Lo boards are inside the tail cap assembly The cord exits through a small grommet

Here's the P7 conversion mounted to a Marwi handle bar mount.
The glow in the dark clicky switch has 3 clicks.
Click one is 1.4 amps
Click two is 2.8 amps
Click three is off
