I am doing another CNC upgrade. This time I am replacing the old Rotozip tool with a Bosch colt tool. The Rotozip was ok, but the collets are crap. The 1/4" Rotozip collet would wobble unless you spent a bunch of time trying to get it right. The Bosch colt is built way better than the Rotozip and you can buy precision collets for the Bosch. This is a link to the Bosch web site I will be converting my CNC router as soon as the Router mount arrives here. |

This is the precision collet set made for the Bosch colt router. This is the web store link where I purchased the collet set. |

K2CNC mount I was going to machine my own Router mount for the Colt, but I found a source for a really nice mount. By the time I purchased the block of aluminum, designed the part and cut it out, it would have cost way more than buying the part above. The picture above is made for a smaller spindle, but the Bosch router mount looks the same, it just has a larger center hole. This is a link to the web site where I purchased the Bosch router mount. |
