You may not be seeing the most recent PDF file on the library page when you click on a link to open a PDF file
Browsers will download and save these files and then call them up from their stored cache of files again the next time there is a request to view the file.
I update the PDF files on my web sites all the time
I found out that after I update a file, IE will not show me the new version
If I use Chrome or Firefox and hit refresh, I see the new version
So make sure you hit refresh on your browser after viewing a PDF file on the library page
Hitting refresh re-loads the most recent file in
Chrome and FirefoxThose two browsers have no problem re-loading the new file from the server
If you are using Internet Explorer, it will not re-load the most recent file
This the only method I have found that actually gets rid of the old files stored in the IE browser cache on your local computer and loads the new version from the server.
Here is how to clean out the old files in IE
Click the Tools icon in the upper right of the screen or go to Tools, Internet Options in the menu - A new window opens
Click the settings button - A new window opens
Click the View files Button - A new window opens

These are the files stored on your local computer in the cache
Click the Type header row and the window will be sorted by file type
Find all the PDF files - Adobe Acrobat Document
Find all the Hoffman Amps PDF files

Right click on any of the files you want to delete and choose Delete to delete them
Now go back to the page on my web site where the PDF file link is and click on the link again
IE will load the new version of the file and this new version will be stored in the browser cache
Now you will be getting the most recent file
