u srinivas IN A QUICK CONVERSATION |
|
Who hasn't heard of U Srinivas, the genius who stormed into the Carnatic music field at the tender age of 9? He silenced his detractors within a short span of time, having successfully adopted the Mandolin into Carnatic music. His attractive, powerful playing and gamaka-oriented style have earned him the respect of one and all. Needless to say, awards and accolades have been pouring in a continuous stream for Srinivas, who has travelled all over the globe and been featured in all the prestigious festivals. Carnatica congratulates him on being selected for the Sangeeta Kala Nipuna, and wishes him many more successful decades in the field. Over to U Srinivas... |
